We specialize in Near-Surface Geophysics
Near-surface geophysics is a term commonly used to indicate geophysical mapping up to a depth of < 200 m. This is as oppose to the depth of investigation in oil and gas (O&G) exploration where it can reach to several kilometers.

Common applications of near surface geophysics include mineral exploration, groundwater study, geotechnical, environmental and archaeological investigations and utility mapping.

Among the most commonly used geophysical methods are seismic (refraction and reflection), potential fields (gravity and magnetic), electrical (resistivity, induced polarization and self-potential) and electromagnetic (both frequency and time-domain) and ground penetrating radar (GPR).

Why use geophysics ? 
Geophysical surveys are often conducted to minimize risk of not hitting the target and reduce cost. They are often used to guide follow-up drilling activities and to obtain subsurface geological information. As drilling programs are costly, obtaining subsurface information prior to carrying out the drilling programs would be beneficial and cost effective in deciding on the number and locations of the boreholes.
